🤖 AI keeps getting smarter. But one question belongs to us:
Whose world does it understand—and on whose authority does it act?
💡 “Ontology as a lens” is a powerful starting point.
Ask an AI to identify your “most important partner,” and it might rank contract values. You might mean the person who answered your call when everything was falling apart.
Data records what happened. Relationships, memory and values give it meaning.
🌱 This is the idea behind the vision I defined for Holon:
One Ontology, Multiple Agents.
Different agents for work, research and everyday life, grounded in an evolving personal ontology under your control.
You shouldn’t have to introduce yourself again every time you change AI models. A model upgrade shouldn’t feel like a first date with someone who has forgotten your entire relationship. 😄
🔑 Understanding you is only the beginning.
Knowing your preferences doesn’t authorize spending your money.
Remembering your friends doesn’t grant access to every conversation.
Drafting on your behalf doesn’t mean permission to publish.
Useful personal AI needs boundaries you can set: what it may know, what it may do, and when it must stop and ask.
🔄 Models will change. Tools will evolve. Your digital self needs continuity.
That is Holon’s vision:
Local and cloud models provide capability. Your personal ontology carries meaning. Your permissions govern action.
🌍 Sovereignty can also be the foundation for cooperation.
When people can bring their own knowledge and boundaries—and choose how to contribute, collaborate and share in the value created—we can build more trustworthy collective intelligence.
That is a Holon of Holons:
Every part is a whole, capable of creating something greater together.
Own → Understand → Govern → Act.
✨ My hope for AI is deeply human: help us get things done, and leave us more time for the people whose importance could never fit into a KPI.
